Custom Painting, Decaling, Detailing and Weathering

I have done a number of special projects for people over the years. It mainly started with requests for Lamoille Valley RS-3s, which until the recent Atlas model, were not available in the Yellow with Green stripe scheme. Custom paint and decals by Highball Graphics was the only way to get one of your own.

I don't do too many projects now for others, but thought I would share a few of my favorite projects.

LVRC RS3s

I've done quite a few of these RS-3s with slight variations and specific detail attributes, initially for myself and then for others.

LVRCGreen
I do not model the RS3s with the green roof as that happened a little past my timeframe. But I do think it is a nice look.

LVRCPair
This pair started out as BN units I had to strip. The customer wanted an example of an early and later paint scheme.

New Hampshire & Vermont

NHV669
I saw this locomotive in Whitefield in the early 1990s so it was fun to paint this one up, an Atlas Classic GP7 with Highball Graphics decals.

NHV475
The Bowser caboose is a good starting point for a custom NHVT caboose.

Conway Scenic

CSRR1055
The CSRRs ex-B&M Also S4 had some unique details, including 2 separate horns. Another locomotive I saw in North Conway many times, it was cool to do a model for something a bit past my time period.
